How an Immigrant Who Started as a Dishwasher Became a Podcaster
Giving Voice to Untold Stories.
In 1993, I stepped off a plane in the United States with $475, a gym bag, and not a word of English in my vocabulary. What I did have was determination—and hunger, not just for food, but for a future. I took the first job I could find, scrubbing dishes in a pizza place. It was hard, humbling, and exactly what I needed. That kitchen became my classroom.

The path I’ve walked has taught me one thing for certain—stories have the power to move people.
If you receive wisdom that has helped you through difficult times, you can make it twice as strong by simply sharing it with another person.
Impact With Every Interaction
One of the greatest privileges of hosting Talk2Rami has been the opportunity to interact with so many bright, thoughtful, and courageous individuals. Each person has taught me something—about resilience, creativity, leadership, identity, or purpose. These conversations aren’t just intentions; they’re lessons.
Whether it’s a tech innovator, a speaker, a business leader, or someone quietly changing their corner of the world, every dialogue adds another layer to my understanding. I walk away from each interaction not just inspired—but humbled and sharper than before.

Why Talk2Rami
I’ve always been fascinated by people. Not just what they do, but why they do it. That’s what inspired me to start my show, Talk2Rami, in 2020. It’s a space where real stories unfold—stories of struggle, resilience, creativity, and transformation.
It doesn’t matter if someone’s famous or unknown. If they have a story that can inspire someone else to keep going, to not give up, to believe in what’s possible—then that story deserves to be heard. To me, that’s more than content. That’s service.
My favorite moments are when someone says, “I saw your interview with XYZ, and now I’m ready to get up and chase my dream.” If just one person feels empowered to keep going because they saw someone else rise up—that’s when I know the assignment is complete.

Why Stories Matter
I believe in storytelling not as entertainment, but as a form of healing and action. Stories connect us, teach us, challenge us, and remind us we’re not alone. Especially for immigrants, underdogs, or anyone who’s ever felt like they were starting from the bottom—stories are a kind of survival guide.
When I interview someone, I’m not chasing headlines. I’m listening for heartbeats—the moments that define a person’s truth and strength. That’s what we share on the show. That’s what resonates. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors
Who I Am, Beyond the Mic
I love life. I love my amazing wife, our three children, and our dogs. I love my team and the energy we create together. I love technology and entrepreneurship. I love food—and yes, sugar is my weakness. I’m a sucker for a good dessert and a better conversation.
In quieter moments, I practice calligraphy and listen to audiobooks. I’m always learning, always trying to become better—not just for me, but for the people around me.
Most of all, I love helping people. If my journey can support yours—even in a small way—then I’m already grateful for the connection.
